I have such high hopes for Prometheus. It’s still my most anticipated. The Dark Knight Rises is a very close second. I can also tell you that Martha Marcy May Marlene is fucking spectacular. Made my top ten from last year. A Dangerous Method is pretty solid, as well. Can’t forget about We Need To Talk About Kevin, which was a hell of a lot better than I was expecting. I’m actually watching The Theatre Bizarre now and need to review it, so I’ll let you know how that is.

I’ve got dozens of TV horror films and there are only a select few that really rise to the top. Which is funny when you consider the now legendary horror directors like Wes Craven and John Carpenter have done some lol.

Yeah PIN has really aged well even if David Hewlett hasn’t lol I love films like this, I just wish it wasn’t OOP.

Last year I decided to track down some of the American TV horror movies I’d heard about but never seen. Totally agree that Dark Night of the Scarecrow is an example of how good TV horror can be (along with Bad Ronald which I loved. Didn’t care for Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark but I have no idea why. After a while I was annoyed with it).

And great to see PIN get a mention! I saw it as a kid and it disturbed me in all kinds of ways. Perhaps not ideal viewing for an 8 year old. My sister bought me the dvd a couple of years back but I haven’t watched it as I was scared it’d be another film I loved as a kid that disappointed as an adult. Very pleased to hear it still retains it’s power after 24 years so will give it a watch soon.

Dude, I totally remember Dark Night of the Scarecrow! That movie was really good from what I remember. I so have to check it out again, as well as these other picks!
