Review by Adam Tracey

In an effort to correct their ‘problem’, Ellen orders an African mask of a fertility god. What she gets is a horrible looking papier-mâché mess, but the mask comes equipped with its own built in demon and it quickly possesses her giving her nasty and erotic nightmares. Her husband and doctors think she is crazy and want to put her in a home for awhile. On the way to the home the car breaks down and hubby heads to the closest gas station. Ellen is attacked by the demon or maybe she isn’t or maybe she is?!? She makes her way to a house where 2 couple are vacationing for the weekend. They take her in and fortify against whatever is out in the night.

I wish I could say there was something more to see in this movie other than the nudity, but I can’t. It really is completely to spec. Throw a bunch of hot and horny people in some out in the middle of nowhere location where nobody can hear the screams and gunshots and nobody could get to in less than an hour and no cell phone reception is to be had, add mad man and shake well. The order people die is predictable, the method they were killed was predictable and the flimsy attempt at a swerve at the end was predictable. Strictly from a movie standpoint it wasn’t horrible. The actors were serviceable if not better. The director didn’t go for too much; the story was pretty simple, just too familiar.

Any time Tiffany Shepis gets naked any much less this much that is always going to be your #1 reason to see the movie, but you have to hope there was a 1a or at least a solid #2. Sadly, there wasn’t. Not even the quick cameo by Richard Moll was enough to give this anything. The effects were nothing close to spectacular and the dialogue wasn’t anything to break clichés.
